Once again this will have to be short as we again have guests.  This time staying in our apartment which means they sleep in my office or I work in their bedroom, take your pick.  And their sleeping habits do not quite coincide with my working habits.  Silly people seem to think that 4AM is a time for sleeping.  How odd!  They arrived yesterday and this morning they got a phone call from a friend informing them that the airline they came with, (Icelandic owned.) had just announced it had gone bankrupt and they will have no transport home.  So now it is rush around time to try and find an alternative that does not come to cost an arm and a leg.  Then we have to go to lunch with some other friends that are here but at least they have their own apartment.  But all this sort of thing does take time so............................

But as usual I have a few thoughts on things various.  Mainly the election campaign and the encouraging possibility that Obama could very well walk away with it.  And the bullshit that is now coming from the Neo-Con pundit and dedicated ass kisser brigade on just how dangerous it would be to American Democracy if the Democrats managed to not only capture the White house but obtain a majority in both the House and Senate.  Funny, this didn't seem to be the slightest danger while the Rethuglicans had all three in their greasy little mitts now did it.  What a total bunch of whining, whinging hypocrits!  And I've heard that even the foul, evil, two faced cocksucker Newt Gringich has jumped on this band wagon.

But....................With the Neo-Nazis Cons so terribly interested in our "Democracy" that they are working their asses off to make certain that millions of voters are wiped from the registration lists making them inelegible to vote and that in numerous States the voting machines are changing votes from Obama to McSlime so that any reasonable prediction of the actual outcome is totally impossible.  But I can tell these foul bastards that if they do pull a Florida number this time things will burn!  The American people are simply fed up with these corrupt bastards and are not going to stand for another swindle.  They have had eight long years of it and they are not having any more.  Period!  So mark my words you bastards.  The lamp posts around Washington could come to have some very different Christmas decorations this year if you try and pull this shit once again.

The most laughable that has come from McSlime so far, in my eyes at least, was his attempt yesterday to lay the blame for the present finiancial crises on Obama!  Can you imagine the sheer gall of a statement like this?  Here we have this little brown-nosing prick who doesn't know his ass from the hole in the tundra where he found his running mate trying to exculpate himself and his party from the economic meltdown we are now forced to go through due to his party and his buddies desire to own every goddamned penny in the United States Treasury.  Tax free of course.

And then we have the little problem with old Joe Stevens being found guilty on 7 counts of taking bribes gifts from "friends" that he somehow forgot to report as required.  The problem being that old Joe was one of Tillie's mentors in the totally corrupt politics way up North in Alaska.  The odd part of it, at least to those who do not understand the ambition of this woman, being that Tillie has called for his resignation.  Which, if he were to do so this close to the election, would automatically mean a Democratic win.  Which in turn could be the key to the Demo's attaining the magic 60 figure of senators that would allow them to stop any Rethuglican filibuster.  So why would Tillie, a Republican, do a thing like this that can only damage her own party?  Because she, being Gov. up there, could then call a special election to fill his post which in fact would negate the results of the election of next month and give her the oppourtunity to run for the vacant seat which would give her a far better chance at a run for the Presidency in 2012 which is really what the foul bitch is after for it appears that she has got a taste for the bright lights now that McSlime has shown her that there is actually more to life than shooting helpless fauna out of an airplane. 

And how that dipping her little greasy, grubbing fingers into the BIG pot that is the United States taxpayer's pockets can be far more lucrative than anything she can manage up North where the igloos grow. (Just think!  She too could own 7 homes if she plays her cards right.) Plus shopping sprees on 5th Avenue at the taxpayers expense.  (If she needs any help here she can always consult with Connie, the wicked witch of the West, Rice.  But from looks of things she won't need a helping hand here as she seems to do OK on her own when it comes to that.)  And free hospital care at the finest hospitals taxpayers money can buy when her bastard grandchildren are born.  What more could she ask for? She can  even dress the head dude up in regal splendor at the taxpayers expense.  Just think, designer coveralls for snowmobile racing!  Which will, without doubt, make him the envy of all the other rednecks in fur hats that take part. 

So goodbye Northern Lights, Hello the bright lights of Washington!
