enter>GENERAL HQ.
Each man must for himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong, which course is patriotic and which isn't. You cannot shirk this and be a man. To decide against your conviction is to be an unqualified and excusable traitor, both to yourself and to your country, let men label you as they may: Mark Twain We should never forget that everything Adolf Hitler did in Germany was "legal" and everything the Hungarian freedom fighters did in Hungary was "illegal." Martin Luther King, Jr., "Letter from Birmingham Jail," Why We Can't Wait, 1963
To begin the day I would like you to go here and read this first. As I believe it will give you a somewhat better insight into what is really going down in Georgia and who the real culprits are. Amd once again it is the evil Randy Scheunemann that Of course this flock of brain dead fuckwits still believe that the United States is the most powerful, richest nation on earth and can do whatever they like where ever they choose whenever they want to. That they are too stupid to learn anything from the total fiasco in Iraq and now Afghanastan where home made armies with no fucking PENTAGON at their backs, no nukes, no tanks and no Air Force have managed to kick the living shit out of the US Military. Which is exactly what has happened. How else can you explain it being over 5 years since we invaded Iraq and we still have made no visible headway. Nothing we set out to do there has been accomplished. We went there to steal their oil and we still haven't been able to get the oil fields we destroyed in our idiotic bombing campaign up and running. What has now happened in Georgia is the simple fact that the Russians have also noticed this and have thumbed their nose at Bush, McLame and all the other assholes that got us into this mess in the first place. So what does Bush do, against the wishes of the Navy and the Pentagon apparently? Why he sends a few American Navy ships to the Black Sea to show them we mean business. And somehow the Russians almost failed to notice. Their commanding admiral stating: "We can destroy all the NATO ships in the Black Sea in about 20 minutes" with a shrug. And the feeling was definitely proven just the other day when a US Coast Guard, (I still can't figure out what the fuck the Coast Guard is doing over there.) ship docked in Sevastapol, still the home port of the Russian Black Sea fleet. To great protests from the local population I must add. In fact the protests were so extended that the sailors on the ship refused to go ashore. Un-fucking-heard of! Sailors who won't go ashore in a new port? And sure enough, the very next day the Coast Guard left, tail dragging in the water, due to the hostile atmosphere. So fucking much for a Bush show of strength. Perhaps they might now discover that the practise of so called "Gunboat Diplomacy" actually went out of style about the time of WWI. So now I can only fear that the Iran invasion is back on the books. And WWIII is just around the corner. And then go here and read this. The title of the piece, "Fake US victory in Iraq" pretty well gives away what it is all about. The following is a short quote from the complete article which I urge you strongly to read in it's entirety. "Much of what the White House is now doing is done to help the Republicans in the presidential election. The aim is to give the impression that Iraq has finally come right for the US and victory is finally in its grasp. The surge is promoted as the strategy by which the tide was turned and it is true that the Sunni uprising against the US occupation has largely ended. And never forget: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." THOMAS JEFFERSON, letter to W.S. Smith, Nov. 13, 1787 For I fear it will be up to you to soon apply this axiom from one of the greatest thinkers on the subject of Democracy and how people should govern themselves in peace this world has ever produced. And on top of that, it is a part of your legacy, just as much as Freedom of Speech which is rapidly being stolen from you. COMMENTS |
